About
Aquarium is a 15-minute short film written by Rob Meyer for his NYU Graduate Film School thesis. It follows the story of David, a 15-year-old kid who escapes the boredom of the Boston suburbs to the exotic world of breeding aquarium fish. He and two buddies make their way to a long-awaited meeting of the Boston Aquarium Society.
Aquarium was filmed in Newton, Massachusetts during the last two weeks of August, 2006. It was shot on 35mm film by an all-star crew of NYU graduate students.
